🖖👽 - 05 - Five things to be grateful for...
Just the best stuff from the world of Web3 and Art from TMFA Community. Weekly.
gm
That time of the year again...
That last few weeks before a new year...
For some, it is a joyous and bountiful season filled with family and celebration.
For others, it is lonely and challenging, and depressing AF.
I get it.
I've experienced both ends of this spectrum during my life.
Most importantly, through my varied experiences, I've learned that this time of the year brings an opportunity to observe and reflect...
Even if things are lonely and not going great, there is still so much to be grateful for…
Okay, so… If you can…
Take a moment to remind yourself of five things you are grateful for...
It can be simple stuff… like, “today I am grateful I didn’t sh*t my pants…yet…”
For me, it’s that, and...
Community, the one we are building here, and the new communities I find each day.
Work, the ability to use my time and talents to make a living doing what I love.
Creation, the fact that if I can dream it, I can do it as long as I put my mind to it.
Knowledge, access to all the world's information through a simple Internet connection.
Breath, I am alive! The fact I am alive (i think) is a miracle beyond comprehension. Even if we live in a simulation, I’m still stoked to believe I am “alive.”
Okay, obligatory post-woke empathetic seasonal gratitude message out of the way…
Moving on…
Our community is so insanely cool.
A newsletter, a few podcasts, a magazine, group shows, collaborations, NFT drops, murals, educational programming, new frens, and a knowledge base for all to use to accelerate their practice.
We are really doing it…
If you recall our onboarding in April, we stated our goal for 2021 -- 1,000 members.
And we are damn close…
So, I guess, in addition to grattitude, remind yourself of your goals this week...
What do you want to build in the coming weeks, months, and years?
How will you do it?
Write it down.
Make a plan.
Start now.
You can do it if you go and f*cking do it.
Kindly,
- Matty Mo
