Why does this exist? Good question — do we really *need* another newsletter in our inbox each week? Maybe not... but…
This is much more than a newsletter.
This is the organization of our community’s collective knowledge.
It’s also a distribution mechanism for the members of our community.
As our content gets better, our audience will grow, and we will all benefit from the distribution channel we are creating as a team.
What’s it about? This is about art. All kinds of art and art world stuff, but more specifically, we focus on the intersection of Web3 and art.
A famous artist once said, “great artists use the tools of their time to tell the stories of their time”.
As a community, our tools are varied, but it is clear that the entire world of art is becoming increasingly dominated by digital tools—so we want to be a place to learn about that part of art too, in addition to the “real” art stuff.
But this won’t just be tweets from tech bros talking about NFTs. While you might find some nuggets in that content, this weekly email will also include community updates and links to the coolest stuff happening in the world of art today.
How’s it made? This is a collective effort.
TMFA community is now many hundreds of artists spanning disciplines and geographies — all with unique points of view.
So, we created an easy way for everyone on our discord to contribute all of the best stuff they find each week in their Internet browsing adventures.
We consolidate it here and syndicate the goodies to our growing list.
All that said, hi fren :)
